Intern - AI

At Youwe, we believe AI is not only transforming what we build for clients, but also how we work every day. As an AI Intern, you’ll help our internal teams work smarter, faster, and more effectively by applying AI to real business challenges.

This internship is part of the Dutch Digital Agencies (DDA) AI Internship Program, where you collaborate with AI-minded students from leading agencies while working on real use cases within Youwe.

Within Youwe, your internship is connected to our Automate Everything ambition: an internal program focused on reducing repetitive work, improving access to insights, and making better use of data and systems. You contribute to this mission by identifying opportunities, testing AI solutions, and helping teams adopt new ways of working.

Your Responsibilities:

• Work closely with colleagues across HR, Finance, Marketing, and Operations to understand processes and needs

• Identify opportunities where AI, automation, or smarter tooling can reduce manual work or improve insights

• Translate business needs into clear AI use cases and small-scale experiments

• Design and test practical solutions such as dashboards, copilots, prompt frameworks, automations, or knowledge tools

• Support validation of solutions with end-users and gather feedback on impact and usability

• Explore how AI changes daily work within internal teams

• Share learnings internally and within the DDA AI Internship Program community

• Contribute to improving internal ways of working through experimentation and innovation

From idea to experiment to real-world impact, you’ll help shape how AI is used inside Youwe.

Must-haves:

• Currently enrolled in an HBO or WO program (e.g. AI, Data, Business, Innovation, HR, Communication, or related field)

• Strong interest in AI, automation, and digital transformation

• Analytical mindset with the ability to translate problems into practical solutions

• Curiosity and willingness to experiment and learn by doing

• Strong communication skills and ability to work with different stakeholders

• Hands-on, proactive, and not afraid to take initiative

Nice-to-haves:

• Basic understanding of AI tools, automation platforms, or data analytics

• Experience with projects involving technology, innovation, or process improvement

• Interest in internal innovation or organizational development

• Experience working in multidisciplinary team projects
