As a Senior Account Manager, you play a key role in driving our commercial growth, protecting our most significant relationships, and expanding revenue within your portfolio.

You take ownership of mid-market to enterprise client relationships, guide them through strategic boardroom conversations at the executive level, and spot opportunities across Youwe’s full proposition. This role combines strategic thinking, consultative selling, and strong commercial ownership within an international digital agency environment.

From initial handover to signed expansion, you create commercial impact while building trusted client relationships.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Grow and protect a defined portfolio of Youwe’s most significant client relationships.

  • Own and manage your annual portfolio growth target (±30% YoY) and expansion pipeline.

  • Translate complex client challenges into digital roadmaps and commercial proposals.

  • Present solutions to multiple stakeholders, including C-level decision-makers.

  • Lead strategic pitches and quarterly reviews together with internal specialists from strategy, tech, and marketing.

  • Research client business models, digital maturity, and market opportunities.

  • Manage the full expansion cycle from identifying signals to negotiation and closing.

  • Work with CRM systems (HubSpot), forecasting, and pipeline reviews to drive predictable growth.

  • Ensure smooth internal orchestration with delivery teams to align expectations on scope and goals.

Must-haves:

  • Business fluent Dutch and English.

  • 7+ years of experience in account management or commercial roles within a digital agency or IT services environment.

  • Proven track record of owning and growing B2B accounts with annual values above €100,000.

  • Strong consultative and strategic sales skills with a history of account expansion.

  • Experience presenting to senior stakeholders and C-level audiences.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Experience managing pipelines, forecasting, and commercial targets.

  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and direct feedback skills.

  • Ability to work independently with a high level of ownership, resourcefulness, and autonomy.

Nice-to-haves:

  • Familiarity with commerce, data management, or AI-driven process optimisation.

  • Knowledge of digital platforms, trends, and the international digital landscape.

  • Experience working in international client environments or with UK clients.

  • Familiarity with enterprise digital ecosystems and transformation projects.
