Senior Full-Stack Headless Developer

At Youwe, we build composable digital platforms that connect systems, data, and customer experiences. As a Full-Stack Headless Developer, you bridge design and backend systems to create seamless, scalable, and high-performing applications for international clients.

Working closely with designers, engineers, and clients, you translate creative concepts into technical solutions within a modern headless architecture landscape.

Your Responsibilities:

• Build scalable and maintainable front-end applications using React, Next.js, and TypeScript;

• Develop integrations with backend systems via REST APIs, GraphQL, and webhooks;

• Work with API gateways and event-driven architectures;

• Ensure applications are secure, high-performing, and composable by design;

• Collaborate with designers to translate UI/UX concepts into technical reality;

• Work together with backend engineers and SaaS partners on API contracts and integrations;

• Take ownership of technical architecture and end-to-end project delivery;

• Guide and mentor developers through technical leadership and code reviews;

• Ensure accessibility, usability, and development best practices are applied throughout projects.

From architecture to delivery, you ensure quality, scalability, and technical excellence across every stage of the project.

Must-haves:

• 5+ years of commercial experience building modern React applications;

• Strong experience with React, Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript;

• Experience working with REST APIs, GraphQL, and backend integrations;

• Solid understanding of headless, API-first, and composable architectures;

• Experience translating business and client requirements into technical solutions;

• Strong understanding of performance, scalability, and secure development practices;

• Experience working in multidisciplinary teams and client-facing environments.

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience with event-driven systems and API gateways

• Familiarity with SaaS integrations and headless platforms

• Knowledge of accessibility standards (ARIA, keyboard navigation, WCAG)

• Experience mentoring developers or leading technical project delivery

• Experience within a digital agency or fast-paced project environment
