Senior Symfony/Laravel Developer

At Youwe, we build digital platforms that connect data, content, and commerce. As a Symfony Developer with a strong focus on Pimcore, you’ll work on scalable and future-proof solutions for international clients while helping teams grow through collaboration and technical excellence.

This role goes beyond coding. You solve complex technical challenges, support colleagues, and help improve development standards across projects.

Your Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Pimcore-based platforms using Symfony and PHP

• Design scalable and future-proof digital solutions for clients

• Collaborate closely with developers, consultants, and clients throughout projects

• Build and maintain integrations with third-party services and APIs

• Improve code quality and development standards across projects

• Support and coach colleagues through technical guidance and collaboration

• Contribute to architecture decisions and long-term platform scalability

• Work with tools and technologies such as RabbitMQ, ElasticSearch/OpenSearch, and Redis

• Ensure clean, maintainable, and testable code through best practices and Domain-Driven Design principles

From development to technical guidance, you help create high-quality digital platforms while contributing to the growth of the team.

Must-haves:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Symfony and/or Laravel development

• Strong experience with Pimcore

• Solid knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

• Experience working with REST APIs and third-party integrations

• Experience with Git and Agile development methodologies

• Experience with RabbitMQ, ElasticSearch/OpenSearch, and Redis

• Experience writing automated tests

• Strong understanding of clean code principles and Domain-Driven Design

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication skills in English

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience coaching or mentoring developers

• Experience working in a digital agency environment

• Dutch language skills

• Experience with scalable enterprise platforms and complex integrations
